looks like the teams were allowed to keep the tyres from FP1?
FIA doc said they had to be returned 2 hours after FP1?
2 hours after FP2 it said.
Yes, correct.

How does Sam Collins know the feul loads. I assumed he used to guesstimate. But he's stating rather confidently and accurately. I find it hard to believe teams giving out that info.

Yeah, I thought it was odd he found it was 10kg more fuel.

Likely talking nonsense.

Tv direction is possibly the worst I’ve ever seen… Max finishing lap? Let’s look at Perez going slowly for 45 seconds. Sainz and Leclerc finishing lap? Let’s look at a Mercedes moving very slowly in their outlap.

Do they hire people that have no clue on purpose?

They just love the Red Flag, can't they call VSC in FP?

Mercs dropping .5-.6 down the back straight to the Ferrari at the minute

Max 11kph quicker down the straight compared to Hamilton

Still early days but where is that crushing performance that was promised by aston martin?

Ferrari looking fast here.

Merc is bouncing a lot but theyre quick.

Bit irrespective really.
Ferrari much faster on the straights than the Mercs.

Alonso is only 1/3 second off top.

Personally think Merc dropped 2 glory runs in there whilst others focusing on more race pace/overall setup.

Hard to read into. Mercedes did their race runs early, so their qualifying runs were out of sync with everyone else, did them much later.

Actually looks quite promising for AM considering there's still clearly a lot of optimisation of setup needed. Ferrari do look quick though.

What actually is the reasoning behind these two added walls now. The one along the finish straight now just makes the track look worse and the one at the first corner is just dangerous
