Hulk somehow always thrives in these situations.
Terrible grid for Ferrari(i expect Sainz to get a penalty).

Hulk really showing his quality in qualifying. Would love to see him in a proper car. RedBull should give him a shot.

I still laugh on those hypes around Perez at the start of the season. I mean, not that I’m against it, but let’s be real. With current team mate and dominant car he is not champion material
I was just wondering how things would look (in the table) with anyone other than Max in the other BRB?
It is undoubtedly the best car/engine combo, but how good with out that actual driver?
When arguing with a fool, be sure the other person is not doing the same thing.

Overtaking isn't easy here.
I didn't say easy.
This is a track at which you can overtake
Merc is racing Ferrari and Aston. Track position will be important.
You can overtake. That is true. I didn't say it was easy, as the quote shows. You made that inference.

And, as it happens, Mercedes are racing Hulk and Fernando.

I won't be surprised to see contact between the Mercs in to T1 - George will try to get Lewis straight away.

Busy evening for the stewards now
Did they note the ham/stroll incident?

Both on out laps so no foul.

Agree. When he’s got Lewis in his sights, he’s got one thing on his mind. Could be tears.

GR has lost the Q advantage he once had over Lewis, so more than likely to take risks now, to try and beat him.

Careful now, in other places you will get shot down for saying this  . We are supposed to say Hulk is a washed up journeyman and Haas shouldn't have hired him

That would mean two fast drivers in the team. They wouldn't like that.

Had the session not been red flagged, he would've ended up 5th or so.

It's fascinating that such jumps into the top of the order happen to Haas and Williams, but never ever to Ferrari
Kukułka zwyczajna, kukułka pospolita – nazwy ludowe: gżegżółka, zazula (Cuculus canorus) – gatunek średniego ptaka wędrownego z podrodziny kukułek (Cuculinae) w rodzinie kukułkowatych (Cuculidae). Jedyny w Europie Środkowej pasożyt lęgowy. Zamieszkuje strefę umiarkowaną.

Alonso was about to set a purple final sector when the red flag came out, but his first one was probably not good enough to take Pole. He was +0.35s behind after sector 2.
Sector 3 was Alonso's worst compared to verstappen (generally speaking this weekend)
he had two purple segments that lap, but yeah, probably wouldn't have changed much

Perhaps not but yes, that does look like he would've been quite close to Max

He's good qualifier but that's all, on race pace he isn't better than Perez or Bottas.
