This forum contains threads to discuss teams themselves. Anything not technical about the cars, including restructuring, performances etc belongs here.
This rubbish start to the season has helped them quite abit with wind tunnel hours coincidentally bringing a whole new car the week after new allocation
Pertinent question would be how many hours do you need to slowly evolve a very successful design in comparison to one which a team has proven to itself does not compete at the front consistently?
Those with more allocation will need the extra in trying to just achieve parity, let alone superiority.
But most relevant, each team needs to generate the ideas to then bring that concept to be tested, that seems to be more elusive than absolute verification time in the current design restricted format.

The cynic in me can’t help but feel Red Bull have some of their ideas in the Alpha Tauri allocation🫣

How very dare you.
Still, we have a good few hours to develop the car.
Although it's not Mclaren related this video points at the same thing I was talking about the other day,the impact of the front suspension in the aerodinamic of the car.
I must say watching some of Landos and Oscar’s onboard drag seems much much better seen in the final lap Landos drag race before the final chicane with Ocon both had drs wide open and Lando out dragged Ocon before bailing out of the chicane maybe Lando may have had more ERS but alpine has always been towards the top of the speed traps and to be put it kindly McLaren has had the top speed of a brick also the car seemed to be able to break the never ending DRS train

Except… If RB & AT collaborated, AT wouldn’t be dead last
Or maybe...... AT are last because 50% of the engineers paid by them, spend all their time designing the RBR car.
The only time they see Alpha Tauri is when they look at their pay slip.
Yes, I love how Horner is opposed to an 11th-team, meanwhile Jr. Bull races on. I rather have Andretti-Cadillac, than AT any day. I've read that AT gets hand-me-down parts from Red Bull.
