Red is hard to distinguish from orange, the best option is to wear something pink/blue. :D
Aluminium foil will work when the sun shines 😎
Flashes "Chris here" in Morse code.

Thank the Gods! Watching F1TV it seems like Will Buxton is finally gone! He wasn't present in Canada and was not on the Austrian per-race show. Good news indeed! F1TV is really hard to contact, but I sent numerous emails about Mr. Buxton to various contacts; maybe one hit home and if so claim total credit. Can only hope he's gone forever.

He's on paternity leave. I'm fine with Buxton, but Palmer is the actual star of F1TV.

Buxton is ok. He is not as stupid as Ted. As long as F1TV remains neutral on the drivers, it's bearable, which it is for now. I haven't heard how kebabs taste like or the quality of trolley in a supermarket, yet on F1TV. So it's all good.

seems like the risk of rain has decreased significantly. Could very well be a dry Friday now (while Saturday looks still wet at least for Sprint-Quali)

Seems ideal then... Teams get dry running for upgrades and we get to see real pecking order in dry quali/race. And then the wet Saturday can have a mixed up sprint

It used to happen when he spent more time in commentating booth. Fortunately he's now in pitlane more often than not.

TBH I re-watched 2022 race the other day with sky commentary... oh boy am I glad I don't need to hear that relic brundle anymore. Dude was calling for safety car when Sainz blew up purely just for the entertainment purpose, it seemed he forgot this aint nascar and their caution periods for specs of dust on track.
Then he have croft with his "swticharoo" every 2 seconds...

amazing amount of drivel they're able to come up with really

Seems like any session could be wet except for fp1. Saturday lower chance of rain for the sprint than for sprint quali. But mostly showers and not sustained rain.

Tire delta seems minimal at best today, Ham's improvement from hards to softs is only a few tenths.

Agreed. With these track temps difference between C4 and C5 is probably minimal

Worth noting Stroll (soft) was a fair bit in front of Alonso (medium)

Quarter of a sec faster with a step harder compound on such a short circuit. :? And with Sprint(tm) gremlins.

He really didn't bother with track limits in S3 on hard tyres, that's why delta seems smaller.

Otherwise I think Max for pole, but behind him it's anyone's guess. Hard to tell from so few fast laps.

Yes, but the long run looked abysmal. Significantly slower than Merc, although Mercedes might have had a higher engine setting or lower fuel levels.

See tweet for race pace Merc and RB. Russells was on a much lower fuel load compared to Ham:
