Yeah, great approach trying to call out trolls, so you have something to complain about. Very smart and totally makes sense.

Lol

The team will be doing a lot of setup testing, that's why Lando didn't set a fast lap. Piastri didn't look too slow here so nothing to worry about so far

Yep... a lot of setup testing.

It's very hard for me to make conclusions as there was a issue with telemetry data... second setup with the mediums car looked good... top speed was more often than not higher than other car, to be honest we won't know till quail. There was a tiny bit of floor damage, I wonder if they will need to run stiffer or higher

New floor potentially arrived overnight?

A spare maybe?
It could be, but I suspect that the Mclaren build crew will not have been making any more old parts and that they will have been fully focussed on the new designs, so if the floor really has come in overnight then this could be another part of the upgrade.
Yea, I’m mean a spare floor for Norris’ new spec. This is Austria with its floor destroying kerbs
Just a fan's point of view

I'm not worried. 17 laps means the systems check. It's going to be just setup tuning from here. Lando may be out of the points due to the Sprint Ferme rules tho...

Time to see what the new update can do when more or less straight out of the box.

The car seems quick here anyway. And the new parts certainly aren't slower.

Lando immediately mixing it with the Red Bulls in Q1 is a good sign for sure.

It's a track with little slow speed corners, plenty of high speed and cool conditions, what will be interesting is how we do elsewhere where we would have struggled before.

This is true... the car looks unbelievable in the highspeed now.. but also the traction zones we are going purple.

Norris less than a tenth off Perez again. This car is massively suited to this track, but surely a large part of the performance is from the new package too

what am I seeing here, Lando suddenly only fraction of mili second to the Bulls. Is it track specific or because of the upgrade. Piastri in the range of 0.5 s slower than lando

What I'm more excited by... is that if the gap is 5 tenths from performance between Oscar and Lando, this is only 50% of the upgrade..
