what am I seeing here, Lando suddenly only fraction of mili second to the Bulls. Is it track specific or because of the upgrade. Piastri in the range of 0.5 s slower than lando
If the real gap is really 5 tenths or so between Oscar and Lando, I'd reckon big chunk of the gap is from the upgrade. Something to consider is that Norris really loves the track and the car seems to like the track too.

The car was already strong in high speed corners (of which there are many in Austria) and this upgrade added "pure performance" so it likely is even faster in these and reduces weaknesses elsewhere. Throw in that Austria is thinner air where drag is penalized less & lower temps are here and it's a great set of characteristics for the MCL60. I think we have to consider any result here with a grain of salt, but it's absolutely amazing to see the car performance

With all these track limit time deletions we might actually be fighting for pole here...

We can safely say it is atleast 2 or 3 tenths. The track is short, so perhaps it could be half a second per normal lap. The question is what about problematic corners. If they managed to solve a bit of that as well, it could be more than 5 tenths. So far so good.
If i would get the money to start my own F1 team, i would revive Arrows

It's a track with little slow speed corners, plenty of high speed and cool conditions, what will be interesting is how we do elsewhere where we would have struggled before.
This is true... the car looks unbelievable in the highspeed now.. but also the traction zones we are going purple.
Actually it's 26c so not massively cool, but still beneficial to us.

Still, we look very strong here and there does appear to be a difference between the two packages.

I don't know if we can maintain this in terms of race pace... its a big unknown, I personally don't think we can... It may well still be merc and aston ahead in the race

Totally unkown, the package hasn't been in the race. Not sure if the floor is the solution to the way we handle the tyres so we may be a bit slower in the sprint race and the main race. Still, we have the chance to go again in the sprint qualifying and see if we can extract any more from the car.
