Max Verstappen hardly had any challenge on his way to today's victory in the Austrian Grand Prix. Charles Leclerc did lead the race for a while due to strategic differences and finished in second place while Sergio Perez put up a great recovery from 15th to complete the podium.
Yes. Suzuka is a good example of what a circuit should look like. There is no incentive to exceed the track limits anywhere at Suzuka. The kerbing, grass, gravel, and gradients at the edge of the track punish you for going wide.
problem is a lot of tracks today get used by bikes as well. If you don't know gravel & sand, can rag doll a rider.
for example
I ride. On the riverdikes here. Very twisty and always stones on the inside of the corners that get ridden onto the asphalt by cars. You just need 1 bigger stone say 3 cm in diameter under your frontwheel and your bike can step out halve a meter easily. That can mean you won’t be able to make the corner. And there is oncoming traffic ofc on open roads. On a racetrack that can also put you in the wall. Gravel traps are not always a good solution on dual use tracks.

Why Hamilton ? I missed something maybe
Verstappen basically had to coast trough last corner being blocked by Hamilton going barely 100 kmh. Then he just blocked him in return, so unless they come up with some mental gymnastics it's 3 places for both.
