Can you imagine the reaction amongst the Orange Army if Max were to be penalised? The illegal flares would be on the track, not just in the grandstands.

But if anything like the f2 race the boys on inters did well for 2-3 laps then got swallowed up from the slicks

Lewis was not on a fast lap, so dont be silly, he failed the approach himself and knew it. Was way too slow on the the approach (maybe even dangerously) and did not make a real attempt.

Logically yeah. F2 was the same and the better tyre overall was the slick. Fine margins.

Drivers shouldn’t be allowed to get away with illegal actions just cause it’s their home race

I was never a fan of Hulkenberg but this year his speed is something I never saw even on champions like Vettel, Hamilton, Button, Rosberg. The guy seems like prime Alonso, constantly putting way inferior machinery where it doesn´t belong
