Looks like there is a big lack of grip
Green track or is the tarmac replaced?

I don't believe they've resurfaced in a significant way in the last year

Don’t think it’s been resurfaced.

Likely green track and possible new tyres Pirelli brought
Mess with the Bull - you get the horns.

Silverstone requires efficient downforce, which RBR has tons. They simply destroy everyone with an easy one-two.
I dont think anybody would think otherwise at this point.

The real battle for the rest of the season is between Ferrari, Mercedes and Aston Martin for runner-up.
I would replace Mercedes with McLaren in that statement. Mercs are a lost cause for this season and next season to come.

Yes the team currently P2 in the WCC is a lost cause.

Ham's lap looked totally out of control, corrections every corner, entry, mid and exit.

I'd expect them to improve over the weekend as they dial in the new upgrades.

The track is packed.

More people here watching fp1 than any raceday on the middle eastern tracks...

The rear doesn't seem to be working well with either the new tyre construction or their new wing, maybe a bit of both.

How many times do we fall for this nonsense from merc until every wakes up.

Merc are just all talk, it's pathetic now, I have gone from beinga fan to detesting the team because it is making fools of people and pushing normal f1 activities as major breakthroughs for tabloids.

Merc: we have upgareds coming that will be significant:
Upgrades: u wot m8
Merc: this isn't a good track for us, our next upgrades will be significant
Upgrades: loooool
Merc: we made progression thus weekend in understanding our car, we have upgrades coming, they Wilp he transformative
Upgrades: you ordered over steer and understeer and low pace right?

All the while on social media pushing the hype.

Now mclaren:
Macca start of the season: our car is wrong we know what's wrong we are working on a new design.
Macca: Silence
Upgrades when they arrive: p4 on race pace

Stop believing the merc marketing department, there is no way an f1 team can make the leaps they are fooling everyone with unless their is a new change to the formula.

lol. Mclaren is miles back in the WCC. Think some are just being dramatic about Merc. They will fix their issues for Saturday. Not saying they will beat RB, but they'll be in Q3.

I checked copse corner for ver, alo, lec and alb. Ver and lec are flat dropping speed from ~300 down to 285, alo small lift from 302 down to 282, albon also small lift but he's coming with higher speed around 305 so only drops down to 286 kmh.

Over 1 lap, they will be strong. it's the race pace that will be the issue.
