Nothing odd here, it ALWAYS rains Wimbledon weekend, for as long as I recall.
Yep, before climate change we used to have the services of Cliff Richard to "sing down the rain" for us in traditional method
but now with a couple of closing roof on the courts of Wimbledon it's no longer necessary. Sadly he's been put out to pasture, in Portugal I think, to help their grape growing season
You can never underestimate the power of Cliff to bring his control of climate to your own region
