Perez no pace, a second slower than Verstappen up front, stuck in P9 and actually slower last lap than gasly in P8. I think it's gg for him. Other cars have caught up (compared to him anyway) in pace and now there's nowhere to hide anymore.
He's never been good at Silverstone. He struggles with the open corners.. it's basically the opposite of his best circuits (baku, monaco etc)

But yea he's gone next year, and maybe no more podiums for the rest of the year :?
Depends how tight his contract his. He's still P2 in WDC after all, and usually you need to be way lower to trigger an exit or kick clause.

Lets see what does on new soft now. he's got loads of them

Surely the remaining medium runners are holding on so they can box for softs?

Surely by just looking at Russell's stint you know the softs can make it

Why mcl not on soft? They didnt dare to probably

And why so late for a safety car? Still really incomprehensible call by the stewards.

I do not understand this...Ferrari knows it from last year and leaves Sai out on chewed hards. McLaren gifts P2, maybe even P3 away...

there might be benefit to them being more durable and lasting longer if pushed to the very limit, I bet Russel was managing it a lot for softs to last that long, but on lighter fuel and "sprint" to finish, they may not hold up

The were obviously hoping to move the car by hand under vsc, but it doesn't seem to want to cool down and stop smoking
