So now all tires are used? I mean, no new hards left for anyone. Same will happen with the mediums.

Silly from Merc. Everyone has a couple of laps on the second set of hards. They tried last minute and George had major traffic

The importance of getting a banker in.

Pleased nobody was on a flyer behind as that was carnage into the last corner. Would have been impeding city.
Mess with the Bull - you get the horns.

Bottas was right behind that gaggle of cars. I think they showed him rounding the final corner as Lewis crossed the line to start his lap. Likely why Bottas didn't improve on his banker lap time.

I don't know if you can see it, I can't. There is a geoblock on it. 1:54 p.m.

Thanx a lot! Unfortunately, it was just about the new tyre allocation format ...
Can you summarize what the problem is with it? Is it limiting the ability to test?
It limits running in general. Max, Lewis and Lando have all spoken against it. Lando even said that if it hadn't rained, then people wouldn't have run much at all.
If you are more fortunate than others, build a larger table not a taller fence.

All they've done is taken off the initial performance from the tyres, they'll be good enough
to use in the race. You'd only get an advantage over the rest if you manage to save a set of fresh medium and
soft tyres for the race. Disadvantage would be flat spotting a set of tyres.

So far so good with this new qualifying format, it puts the onus on the drivers to deliver the lap times
to progress. If it means we see faster cars having to battle through the pack? So be it. This was always going to be about improving the race, with little concern for the impact on the practise sessions (which F1 seems to want to reduce anyway).

Maybe partly down to the new pirelli front tyres? Silverstone was very compressed as well

See how it pans out in Monza, but this format has passed the test so far

Yeah I gotta give it to FOM/FIA, this setup was a good decision.

They should just keep the same tyre allocation, just mandate the quali running tyres.

Be interesting to graph the comparison on fastest laps between compounds.

Loads of teams doing it. Just the way it goes....Gasly nipped in ahead of George. Another day could be anyone of those guys.

How the hell are Norris and Hamilton running so close to that upgraded RedBull rocket?! Looks like the RB19 can't stretch it legs in Hungary.
