start praying
They are practically a second a lap slower.
Tomorrow is 2C higher (29C) on a green circuit with rain expected in about 2 hours time. It is going to be a nightmare man. Plus the usual high fuel woes. Tyres will burn to the ground. Sam Collins after Q said the tyres being sent back to Pirelli don't look great. So if thats the case for other teams we are going to suffer. I'll be grateful if both of them just finish the race.

Teams that are easy on the tyres might make it on a 2 stop. But for us it will 100% be a 3 stops or tyre management to the extreme which is not any better anyways.

Xyz22 has not even bothered to comment today...bravo Ferrari. It was an utterly abominable performance.

Sorry if that came off the wrong way. I appreciate the posters insight and was just getting at being a bit sad that Ferrari is becoming impossible for people to enjoy. The forum was a bit more fun when Ferrari was competitive and usually Xyz22 said something after each session. Ferrari really seem lost now which has meant that some good people are barely posting anymore.

Hi guys i was out of town so i missed quali and couldn’t check the forum.

Unfortunately it went pretty much according to expectations minus Alfa being that quick. The team has been able to fix one of the issues of the car which was the huge instability in race trim, but in terms of pure performance i doubt they made any progress. Now is more stable but just very slow.

I still think they need to start from scratch for 2024. Doubt they can save anything from this car.

the field has bunched up, last year being 3 tents back would not have been so bad probably under top5. but now now that's not the case.. still kind of amazed what maclaren are able to do, also driver are extremely top tier.

Seems. Fred really got work to do. I assume his involvement and internal inspection really hurts performance and workflow of this team. No really surprise. Sadly that means at least lost another 1-2years before his vision can be implemented. Well there is always NEXT year right? realistically 2026...

Not sure, feel like both drivers are trying hard to preserve them but at the expense of pace.

There is always a balance. But now they can similar strategies to rest of the field while still having decent pace. They couldn’t do anything to preserve them before.

Yes they are preserving tyres better but then crawling behind the Haas and Williams isn’t worth it.
