Really looking forward to see the competition between Yuki and Ricciardo. It will be a close one in my opinion.

I now Im biased, but I do think Daniel will have the upper hand over the rest of the season. I do think it'll be close, over all. Yuki is quality and underrated imo.

So we have an understanding

Look out for Daniel in qualifying. He's always been a quiet driver in free practice.

After watching the FP1, it seems Yuki will have the upper hand.

First 2 FP's in the car is hardly a big enough sample size - we really need 2-3 race weekends before we'll know one way or the other.

Well that was interesting, Daniel found 3/10ths over Yuki on his last FP3 run - Qually should be spicy!

Fantastic work from Dan in his first qualli with AT. Hardly any time in this car and bangs in P13, and outqualifies Stroll, Gasly and Albon! First time AT in Q2 for 4 races.

Perez was shocking again today in P9, miles off Max again . Would not be surprised if they swap DR and Perez before the end of the season if this continues.

Honey Badger is back! I recall Max calling Daniel a qualifying machine, and it looks like his ability to find more speed when it counts is back! =D>

Yeah great to see him performing straight out of the blocks in his first weekend back. Hopefully it continues!

Great drive from Ricciardo considering he was taken out by Zhou at the start and was almost last out of T1 after that. He was very consistent on those mediums which he made last 40 laps. Was lapping faster than Yuki who was on younger tyres. Could have been in the points if not for that goose Zhou!!

i dont understand why alpha tauri left yuki on the hard for so long .its like they were determined to get riccardo ahead of him no matter what.he should have pitted with the pack he was racing with the like of Albon ,he lost a lot of time on worn tires.they failed to capitalise on his good start and one u get stark behind slow cars u go nowhere.

Yup, a pretty tidy weekend to start off with. Kept it calm throughout and just quietly worked away with what he had.

I do recall Jos Verstappen (I think) giving credit to DR about qualifying, how he went about it, focus, targeting etc and how much MV learnt from him.

Looking forward to more races to see how DR, AT & YS get on in remaining season races.

Yep, solid effort from Daniel to claw his way back to 13th after getting punted into the two Alpine clowns. Bring on Spa!!!
