The slab-sides are gone and modified to include a long shallow undercut, similar to RB's upside down tunnel that might be helping to power up flow to the rear tyre squirt region. But seems the limitation of the chassis/mid-wing that undercut cannot be deep under the inlet like other teams. Seems that's the compromise here.

The SIS-wing has been re-profiled too and it appears that the stacked VGs have been removed (although that may be a bolt-on panel).

Need to see the whole car to see how the sidepods have changed along their length. Maybe some waterslide-type surfaces have been allowed by the bulging upper surface of the sidepod rear?
If you are more fortunate than others, build a larger table not a taller fence.

Yes good spot on the SIS-wing changes. Definitely something completely new there as those VGs have been there since W13 launch I think ?

Could be wrong, but I think the lower part of the sidepod has been squished inwards, rather than the upper part bulged outwards (forming the sloping shoulder)? As previously I'd expect them to already have been up to the max width of reg box with the sidepod (as are most other teams) to keep the front tyre wake outboard

Wow, funky. With this picture I'm thinking you're right that the upper part is bulged out, but with floor fitted it'd be easier to see relative proportions a bit easier

Oh there's the update then...nice!

These sidepods look like 2012-1023 exhaust ramp sidepods! They seem to produce more outwash in front of the rear wheels which may help with drag and floor expansion and in turn rear downforce?? No waterslide though...

At last a proper low downforce rear wing! The one they had last year looked so basic really! And the wing above the sidepod inlet looks like it has changed angle of attack or something...like it looks a bit more neutral than looking downwards...anyone else noticed this?? :wtf:

Looks like they are opting for more airflow over top of the sidepod to the diffuser, rather than the undercut.

Still feels like a bastard of a car where they haven't been able to update the chassis which is impacting a lot of things at the moment.

This probably loads the rear of the floor more given it will outwash air directly over the rear of the floor edge. Searching for that rear downforce they've been lacking all season

Really is frankenstein-ium. If they're adjusting the pods without changing the floor, doubt we will see new floor at all.
