What's the head to head for race and quali now?
Since Lewis started to move ahead i notice no more tabs on those stats.

This recent form is boding well for Hamilton and his contract negotiations. The team still needs a driver like him. They could be as loss as Alpine are who have two young drivers.
I dare to say ocon and gasly conyributed to Alan and Otmar losing their jobs with their poor performance. The alpine isnt a bad car.

The good thing is George's reputation still cannot be damaged much even by losing to Hamilton week in and week out. He only loses a little shine. He is still racing well despite being a little bit behind.

Totto looks annoyed after the beatdown from redbull. This was the same last year. The whopping 1 second gap also got under his skin.
Thank you for underlight this. I was tired of hearing that Russell is better than Hamilton last year.
I mean, we saw the reality this year without experimental setup, even if the car doesn't fit Lewis' habits (driver positioning etc)...

I might go too far but again Merc went for Georges direction, especially with the fugazi win in Brazil, and Merc lost +5 months keep trying the zero pods concept.
Now, as we saw from recent comments Lewis - who saw the weakness of this car from the 1st run in February - Merc a listening more to him. I mean the experience this guy has is unvaluable

Its not crazy set up, George prefers more DF on occaisions i think he likes it being more stable. He had more DF in brazil last year too. I guess lewis can live and have confidence he can lose little or match lower DF set up.

Was also the case with Bottas. When setups diverged it was always him on higher DF.

Tomorrow will be the big test on which is the right set-up.

He's making such a huge ass of himself, considering how small he is (George).

I wouldn’t have said George impeded Lewis along the straight. Lewis just didn’t have the pace to overtake.
George probably still thought he had a chance to set a lap so kept going (his lap wasn’t ruined by going off)
He likely had a radio off his engineer or seen the delta time and decided to back out. Or he seen Lewis and let him past.

what a sore loser Russell is, he should of moved over but instead thought he hold up lewis a little. Really bad team management too. Cost lewis top 4 place.

HAM had to lift on the Kemmel straight when RUS cut across. He also lost time at La Source by taking a shallower line because of RUS locking wheels.

He definitely lost several tenths there. Pole was never on because of tyre warming issues (due to waiting for PER to go through).

Merc really messed up their positioning though, but RUS definitely didn't make it easy.

He blocked Lewis all the way to Eau Rouge, and also when Hamilton tried to overtake him.
Even before that, he didn't gave Lewis enough space : they were within 1 sec before the lock up

Well done George.
What a d.ckhead.
Does anyone know his radio when he did this??? what a idiot move. I think he deliberately did this but tried to style it to cover what his real intention was.

Honestly I think a pole was on card or at least P3
He's been faster than both Ferrari today
