Today showed again how important it is to have 2 drivers that can deliver… Lando seems to have struggled a bit this weekend so far and Oscar has been fantastic… Great starting positions for the Sprint… Now it will be interesting to watch them race.

My only concern with the setup is that they should get close to the cars in front in the middle sector, but it will be extremely hard to overtake anyone… On the other hand, the speed in S2 should allow them to build a gap to defend… Tomorrow’s race will be all about the strategy

Zak must sign a multi-year contract with Oscar ASAP

What needed to be proven. The car is mega-fast in the second sector, losses in the first and third. Piastri accomplished a feat, bravo! Perhaps in the race everything will not be as bad as yesterday, many pessimistically said here. Lando also made a good lap, everything is in order.

The Mclaren is draggy and they need to shed some of it, but the design team must be looking at Ferrari and Aston, seeing how their quest to match RB top speed hasn't been very kind to their strengths.

Great job by Oscar!

Is it possible Alpine knew how good he is and were still fooling around? He's been in their SIM, driven their older machinery, they must have had a heap of data..... and they still let him slip through their fingers.
Q: (Stefano Mancini – La Stampa) Kimi, will you help Vettel to win his championship this year?
Kimi Raikkonen: I can only drive one car, obviously.

Alpine lost Oscar and Fernando due to sheer incompetence, Rossi got fired for extreme incompetence and took Otmar down with him.

Did Oscar had lower downforce set up than Norris as Norris was getting 301 KM Max cause if you think the speed difference between him and Oscar being 5th by 3 tenths is impressive.

For sure! Norris + Piastri might just be the best driver pairing on the grid right now. I hope they'll both get a win on merit this year.

Can you make any changes in setup after qualifying during weekends with sprint?

That is my question. Oscar had a top speed of 312 KM but Norris's top speed in those straights was 301 KM from one of his tries.

If NOR had a normal S3 then pole would have been his. 0.6s slower than PIA in the final sector whereas he’d been matching him all day. Bad luck. I sincerely hope more rain is on the way
