Jolyon is such a biased reporter. Lewis just slides into Perez and broke his floor.
Perez tyres had gone off, where else was Lewis meant to place his car?
That was a racing incident, not worthy of a penalty. I'd say the same thing if
it were Max overtaking Perez and making contact.
Do you even look at the right moment ?

Lewis slides into Perez, he was not placing his car, it was overspeed in the corner.
It was a racing incident, if Perez's tyres had not gone off Lewis wouldn't have been in a
position to overtake Perez. If that were Max in Lewis's position you'd not be saying a word about it other than
probably blaming Perez for it if Max were given a penalty.

I'm an old school F1 fan, I absolutely despise the tribalism that's entered the sport.
This isn't football, Formula One remains an incredibly dangerous sport and the least we
can do is be respectful to all of the drivers. I hope none of the newer fans of F1 ever have
to experience a weekend like the one where Ratzenberger and Senna died.

Perez and his usual bad driving. Silly penalty for Hamilton.
Anyhow tomorrow should be better than today's preview.
Max will slice through the feild by lap12.
Hamilton could podium and the Ferraris havea good chance as well.
I am not convinced by Mclaren's race pace.
For Sure!!

Lewis unlucky to have understeer, something that sometimes happens to him.
Perez unlucky to steer into other drivers and then crowd them down the straights…something that sometimes happens to him.

Imo we have seen so many times in first laps where drivers going side by side making contact with side pod contact from wheels. Even considering the leniency of first lap incidents this felt like a racing incident - same action that unfortunately had big consequences.

Lenient penalty for Lewis IMHO. Signature move from him.
“signature move”

Yeah we know you’re a big Max fan but it’s high time you remove those Red Bull sunglasses you wear!

Perez all over the place can’t even race properly, Hamilton up the inside Perez steers as if Hamilton isn’t even there! Then in the straight he tries crowding Hamilton to the grass…

If there’s anyone deserving a penalty this is Perez for crowding everyone just to stay on track…

Don’t know exactly what’s your perception of racing really…! Letting the Red Bulls through or something?
Perez steers to stay on the track, because there was no track left for him on the left, Hamilton simply veered into him, you must be wearing Stevie Wonders sunglasses if you didn't see that in the replay...
He is not even close to the curb when the contact happens. He is still on the tarmac and not even on the racing line. On that corner you are supposed to be on the curb. He was definitely crowding Hamilton.

I’d probably half that estimation.

Perez to have a set-to with Charles or Lewis on the first lap tomorrow. I'm going to say now that he's going to have a run in with one of them, either attacking or in defence.

Lewis could well be fighting with Perez into les combes with the tow

From that angle it doesn't look good, we need the before and also onboard to see Lewis steering inputs.

If the race is dry tomorrow I think it will be harder for Lewis. Didn't people say the difference of non-DRS and DRS speed with Lewis compared to others isn't that much due to the smaller rear wing?

It was Checo’s corner. Irrespective of whether he was slow or not, if Lewis comes down the inside he has to leave room on the outside. Perez was already on the kerbs so Lewis had to leave room. No room left meant he hit checo. Collision caused. Penalty inevitable
Serious question, are you even remotely aware of the double standards you are applying (thinking back to previous races when you have heavily defended Verstappen and his penalized dive bombs which was not even happening in this case)? Or are you aware, but decide to do it on purpose?
