Its embarrasing not to have a low downforce set up. If they intend to be a championship winning team in the next two years they cannot repeat that mistake.

If there was a tradeoff between reducing the size of the austria/silverstone upgrade package and not having a low df rear-wing... I think they made the right call with Hungary/Silverstone in mind

Seriously mate, you make this thread unbearable! The team had a monumental task changing complete direction of the car….

You can thank the budget cap for that. You need to prioritize what's more important. And this car was dead last in Bahrain. Turning that around to being the best car after RedBull by the midseason point is anything but embarrassing.

This looks horrible, but what can you do.

This pitstop makes no sense though. What the heck was that. Rain was coming.

I don’t get it: don’t they see it’s about to rain?

I was thinking they are gambling to go for intermediates.

From the team radio - they think class 1/1.5 so I guess that is why they went for Softs.

It is terrible no matter what you are trying to say. Two pit stops already clearly shows that not only they made that huge of a mistake with the set up but aparently they are eating rubber quickly

Tough race, but Lando’s pace in “free air” is up there… Unluckily, all the pace they can extract in S2 is negated if they are in the a train of cars since they can’t make an overtake there and it compromises their tires

Just out of curiosity: what changes between high and low DF? I mean, obviously front and rear wings, probably beam wings as well, but does the floor also change?
