Just out of curiosity: what changes between high and low DF? I mean, obviously front and rear wings, probably beam wings as well, but does the floor also change?

It's mostly rear wing. The drag is crazy high, because even the lower part of the wing has quite a big angle of attack compared to a low downforce package. What that means is that even with drs, the lower part of the wings is generating a lot of drag too.

Probably the rear wing makes the beam wing and floor produce more drag as well as a consequence, but crazy to think they couldn’t produce a rear wing in time.

Unfortunately no more rain expected. At least we are behind a fast car now and no slow cars close behind. Lando should follow Russel.

No more rain expected unfortunately. A bit unlucky. I think a P5 could have been possible with mixed conditions. Like this, points are hard to achieve.

He is matching Russell nicely… In the first part of the race, he was passed by slower cars (in S2) and therefore his lap pace was compromised… He needed a little bit of free air (like Alonso is having right now)

You may have missed the huge package introduced in Austria, maybe they just thought that producing that whole package was more important than a rear wing that would be useful in a couple of races, instead of focusing in the rest of the season… Just maybe

Absolutely. Seems to be holding the gap, so there is some hope. Gap fluctuating by half a second, but reasonably stable over the lap.

Btw things were so bad that F1TV changed Landos onboard camera to show backward view. I'm not joking.

Looks like the team is trying to go to the end on these soft tyres. If they manage then the tyre deg is not that bad. He is matching Russel and Stroll with older tyres.

Stroll is catching. Needs to keep him at least 1.5 behind or he will get DRS in S1 and then it's all over. Good news is decent gap to Tsunoda so should be able to hang onto that one.

Pace is decent, we are just so vulnerable when a car is close behind.

He isn't. It's been 4 seconds for about 6 laps now. Gains half a second, then Lando gets it back in S2. No safety cars please...

But if the deg on Lando and Stroll is the same, we could hold on and with Stroll holding faster cars behind
