Have stopped watching now. Its like even if max (obviously with that car) starts from his hotels parking lot he will still enter the race and win it without any sweat. 😓.
Good podium by lac16👍

Totally piastris fault
Watch Piastri's onboard. He has no room to go and Sainz locked up and completely squeezed him in the first corner. Piastri could do nothing there.

Great race by Leclerc. Tires held up long enough to hold off Hamilton.

Unlucky result for Sainz.

This year’s car shares some similarities with the Williams in its strengths/weaknesses. Doubt it goes well at Zandvoort but Monza and Suzuka could land some good results.

Shame for T1. Sainz didn't need to risk this much considering the pace the car had. How things shake out after lap 1 doesn't really matter at Spa where overtaking is relatively easy.

Excellent and maximum possible result from Leclerc who delivered in a weekend where his worst conditions were constantly present.

Piastri went to the inside giving no space to anyone and hitted Sainz when he was ahead of him.

For me 100% piastri fault

Good race....some positives before summer break...
Is Ferrari planning any upgrades after the break...hope there is some work is happening on the suspension geometry and better to try out before next season starts... Most likely Ferrari will settle for p3 this season..

At this point Red bull is 0.5 -0.8 s ahead of Ferrari and Mercedes are more or less equal and it is very track specific ..

Got to say. Leclerc managed that race well. Pushed and broke the DRS when he was vulnerable, and managed his pace to ensure the tyres didn’t give in on him at the end of his stints. Max in that RBR is just scary though. You can say it’s the car all day long but when you see the gap between him and Checo … wow! Sainz DNF really not helping the teams chances of finishing in the top 3 let alone 2 for the world champs, although in the cost cap era that may be a blessing 🤷‍♂️

The reality is Carlos is simply not delivering. He lost 39 points in races so far this season, all on his own. The only improvement from last year is that he's not making DNF mistakes, at least not yet. There hadn't been a driver in Ferrari that made so many mistakes in the last 25 years, at least.
Make that 51 points with today's door slamming over Piastri, and a DNF mistake. Unbelievable... #-o #-o #-o P4 was very much possible and P5 was easily in the bag. #-o #-o #-o

Solid pace from Leclerc, unexpected after Q for me, I was sure they will be eating the tyres sooner than Merc and not to mention RB. I still think they could have gotten P4 in Hungary without that horrid pit stop for Leclerc, but the gap would have been huge in any case. Not sure what's going on with the tyres, maybe they made a better setup than Merc with no dry practice basically. 3rd podium for Leclerc, it's gonna be hard to get to P3 in WDC but if his wall makes no mistakes in the next 10 races they can recover the gap to Hamilton and I believe Alonso will be a sitting duck with AMR23 going steadily backwards on pace.

Unlucky result for Sainz.
We can't talk about luck anymore, he gets overwhelmed on the start and makes mistakes so often. He slammed the door on Russell in Texas last year and he did it again today. If he didn't lock up there could have been some debate. He had a lot of room on the outside to Hamilton on entry to give space to Piastri who was closing in and did not make any mistake on braking, so we really can't say it was Piastri dive bombing. By the apex, Hamilton took the room on the inside he was given and Sainz was already taking the tight line and completely ignored Piastri. It was unlucky for Piastri, not Sainz.
And they call it a stall. A STALL!

These tires from Silverstone onwards don't degrade as much, they are fairly consistent, Ferrari just has in their mindset to be scared of deg.
Ferrari pretty much stayed where they qualified for a couple of races now.

Charles said after the race there is still something they don't understand about the car. That worries me a bit.

It doesn't matter that Sainz was ahead - Piastri just has to be far enough along to be entitled to space. Which he was. Also Sainz locked up.

However, Sainz also had Hamilton on his left. So he couldn't go anywhere either.

That's 100% racing incident. However, it cannot be considered Piastris fault. He was far enough along to be entitled to space.

Really too bad for both of them. Nobody likes a double DNF.

On french TV he said "they" have to be careful every lap, every corner, with the tyres while the RBs dooesn't need to.
He stated "we don't understand, they have something we don't understand with the tyres".

RB was in another league in quali trim as well this weekend.

Leclerc was the surprise of the day. I didn't expect his tires to hold and there was a moment when he lost 5-7 tenths to Hamilton, so I thought his softs were gone at the end but then he pulled away again.

I have no opinion on the Carlos incident.
