Aston Martin AMR23

A place to discuss the characteristics of the cars in Formula One, both current as well as historical. Laptimes, driver worshipping and team chatter do not belong here.

Same skate as MCL60. Do all the teams run this now?
Interesting bulge next to the skate too

Stroll is definetly running the previous outside floor.

You can see they ran different floors and that they were both different to the original ...

I heard stroll damaged the last set of spares with his sq2 crash, hence the reversion to the old spec for the race on one car.

Believe this is allowed under sprint parc fermé - is how Merc got around change of RW spec @ Austria 2022 for GR without a pitlane start

Stroll Saturday appeared to have the upgrade before the accident.

According to Ted Kravitz, FIA banned their usual front wing design. That's why from Spain onwards you saw them run the classic Mercedes style wing.

What was there to be banned about their front wing?

my guess would be, how they were using the raise eye brows to generate outwash.

Can you link to where Ted Kravitz said that?

If you're referring to the interview with Kravitz that was a question posed to Krack, not a statement of fact

The only new item I've seen is Alonso comment on the RBR front wing and that it shouldn't have been band mid season. Kravitz is likely on Vaca like everyone else in F1.
