De Vries reveals next move after F1 exit
Today, 09:40

The Dutchman left AlphaTauri ahead of the Hungarian Grand Prix.
Speaking to RacingNews365 at the Dutch premiere of the new Gran Turismo film and when asked if his dismissal ahead of
the Hungarian Grand Prix was tough to take, de Vries replied: "Actually not.

"I had a lot of support and it actually went very naturally. I've been playing a lot of golf since then."

Whilst there will be no rush to return to racing following the end to his short stint in F1, his experience in Formula E and endurance racing will likely endear de Vries to new projects.

But revealing his next immediate steps, he explained: "I've never studied before in my life, in fact, I didn't even finish high school.

"But in September I'm going to take a course at Harvard. Negotiation and Leadership, a little bit of studying.
More because I just like it now that I have some time and the interest to learn other things."
Meh. He's a "has been" already.

That's the way things go. Actually I find it showing a sense of realism.

Autosport reporting that Ricciardo is out with a broken wrist. Lawson to replace him for the GP.

There are 5 grand Prix in the next 6 weeks. Given the wrist is broken, he will miss many races.

Unfortunate for Riccy but it'll be quite an outing for Lawson. Hope he does well. :D

Ironic given that the Dutch GP would have been a good place for Nick to race and possibly do well. Yuki can get some more confidence knowing the team is going to be relying on him for the rest of the season. Let's hope the upgrades can help him bring more points.

Yeah absolutely gutted for DR. He was looking good in FP2. Poor guy. Hopefully it seems to be on the lower end of wrist injuries and he is not out for too long.

At least it's not as serious as when Mark Webber broke his leg after being hit by a car.

Same here. Rotten timing! I bet Yuki is feeling a little less pressure tho. :)
