Pretty impressed with both drivers notwithstanding Oscar’s inconsistencies. My immediate thought after he slid down to 8th he confirmed as lack of dry running at a circuit he hasn’t run at before, a very tricky one at that. I think we should all be upbeat, if for no other reason than how often we looked up to see two McLarens in the top three. No small feat given the continually changing conditions. There’s plenty of such changeable scenarios that could bring a sensational result today, maybe even RedBull failing to win. Horner had good reason to fear McLaren yesterday with the rain, that is just as valid on Sunday.

For me personally, Gary Anderson has never been an authority, because sometimes he talks complete nonsense.

Yes but this has quotes from Stella in it, beyond his technical analysis.

I understand that Stella is sometimes not always clear to us McLaren fans. I will note this even in relation to those last 25% of updates. I did not understand whether the team made them or not. What exactly was meant by mechanical components, I do not know. Whether the team is already using these parts on the track, I don't know. But what I know for sure is the fact that the team will not use the rear wing in Monza that Oscar crashed in the second practice.

Yes he does have his own version of English! He may not use the exact version, but I don't think they are creating an explicit low DF wing either just some derivative of this wing with easy to make changes. Anything else would become a major development and take too much time.

… Otherwise, it will be the team's worst mistake after they made the mistake of using a non-optimal aeropack with high drag at Spa. So yes, I just see the inaccuracies of the translation, the very mistake of Stella in the interview, or the misinterpretation of those who have already spoken about the rear wing for Monza. Come on, in Monza the wings will be even smaller than in Spa, but in McLaren, on the contrary, they prepared the rear wing for Monza with even more downforce? Some kind of reverse logic is obtained.

The team has last year's rear wing for Monza. Based on it, you can prepare with greater efficiency. Or, in parallel, the development of a new rear wing for Monza and Vegas is underway. In any case, next Thursday we will see it.

Let me introduce 2022. Monza. Rear wing of McLaren. I think most will stop talking nonsense.

In Mexico, for example, with their long straight but thin air, we'll see both variants of the McLaren rear wing they brought here. The one that was in Monaco and Hungary and the one that defeated Oscar. The same updated version will be used for a couple more grands prix. There are still a few tracks left that require high downforce from the rear.

I did read this article from Gary though. Well, he managed to make a mistake here too, saying that both drivers got an updated rear wing, although Norris has been driving with the old one all weekend. Second, I don't see Stella's error. He noted that this updated rear wing can be used in Suzuka, Singapore and Qatar. What is the problem? Everything is correct.

Regarding Monza: a new rear wing is being prepared, or a heavily reworked one from past iterations. How will the team do? We'll see. But it has nothing to do with the rear wing, which Oscar used in the first or second practice. Is it logical? Yes, it's all right.

Do you need to be obnoxious to present your opinion ? It's especially worse when you try to state your opinion as a fact. Whether it turns to be right or wrong has nothing to do with it.

You may or may not be wrong again, but you should at least be open to it.

Unpleasant? C'mon. I'm just very surprised that some here are seriously discussing such things.
