I'm not American either, but I am willing to defend this country's roads from ignorant opinions. Because obviously you have never been to this enourmous nation at all, or if you have you've been couped up in a city hotel.

Stop hating on the roads here, the country is vastly different from one coast to the other. Even here in my local region I can be in the desert and then in a high altitude forest a few hours later. And I'm sure that there are amazing driving roads around the entire country just like there are around me.

Hey Scotracer, I like to drive on FAKE roads. We have amazingly good FAKE roads, which we drive FAKE cars on, with FAKE drivers in it, like me, FAKE, writing this FAKE comment.

I'd love to come to Scotland to see your REAL roads. Would you be welcoming enough to a FAKE American and show him around in your REAL Type R how you REALLY take the REAL 180 corners? REALLY!

What? Are you scared of a little bump? I love it that its not smooth and also gravel roads are fun to drive on.

I drive a 2009 BMW 135 and a 2004 Mazda RX 8. These are two very different cars but both are fun. The mazda handles better, but the lack of torque is a little bit problematic. The BMW has lots of HP and torque, but has a softer suspension and does understeer a bit. I'm not sure about how much the run flat tires have to do with this.

Both cars have 6 speed manual transmissions, but the clutch on the Mazda is direct action while the BMW is hydrauliclly assisted to make for an easier launch. I guess the Mazda clutch is linear while the BMW clutch is not, it is more forgiving. I prefer the mazda clutch.

The Mazda has 94,000 miles on it and the BMW 11,000.

American roads? Mostly wide and gentle radius, but there are many places that are challenging. I live near New Orleans and we have roads that follow rivers that are very curvy, lightly travelled, and a great place to drive.

These guys http://www.angelfire.com/fl5/osborne/ used to sell pretty much bolt on turbo kits for the rx-8.

I havent been by their shop in a while, but give em a call if you want to bump up the torque in that renesis motor.

I know for a surety that they do good work.

Unless you want to ship the car to Miami then I can get it done for you

2 years ago I switched from a 9 year old Citroen Xsara to an SLK350. I still get a suprise when I open the garage and see it there!

I always wanted a small nippy 2 seater to zip around the narrow lanes in the Dales, something like an Elise. However my height (6'7") means the SLK is the only two seater I can comfortably fit.

Just got new wheels for my truck. The rollpan needs painting but thought I'd share it because I actually like driving it again! :D

That's a really busy look you have going on Ray.

Suggestions: Remove the stickers, don't paint anything, and zip-tie the brake lines.

Going to get rid of some of those stickers, mostly the big ones

The roll pan is flat black e-coating or whatnot, it needs to be painted to match the truck because it sticks out

The brake lines don't move for some reason. Tried zip ties to keep them up but with all the bumping going on they break and I'm back where I started.

What's 'busy' looking about it? The stickers?

The stickers, bed cover, sun shades, big wheels.
