Lando set his lap on used softs. Likely Oscar as well.

Just to keep in mind, anyone going out on new softs will have a much quicker lap.

What else I noticed on the broadcast, the top flap of the unloaded rear wing was also cut off in a wave-like manner with the top in the area of the drs mechanism.

It didn't look like either driver made much of an effort to set a really fast time there and Lando didn't even bother coming out for the last 15 minutes. I'm going to take that as a sign of high confidence from the team!

What's with Sainz and trying to bring Mclarens on the grass all the time? He seems to love doing that :D . On another note what do you think of our performance in P3?

At the time they did the times, they were very good. I think it was a good session, focused on their programme, not flashy times as they did them all on usef tyres.

Both on Q2. The Medium Rubber should be better for us next but I notice we can't seem to be able to match 1.21.3 we did yesterday.

Track temps are up, which may play a part. And was the 1.21.3 with the current wing?

Not sure. If we indeed changed wing was it a good idea cause we seem to be 1 second slower. In any case both drivers have to improve a lot if they want to get to Q3.

We need new mediums for a much faster lap to get into Q3. The current time is still not safe.

Glad Bottas didn’t get through. He just stiffed Lando at the parabolica for track position

Both drivers into Q3. Into the Soft Rubber which should be our best according to yesterday.

I might be mistaken but 8-9 can be the most we can make today as we are missing top speed unless we find a way to get a good TOW from someone.

7th and 9th. I'll take it. Was Norris Lap not perfect cause Oscar did a wonderful lap. Imagine if the stewards removed the 1-3 to Ferrari. They would have never goten out of there from the tifosi.

My prediction was top 8 and both drivers in top 10 and its not a bad result.

We were pushing more than others or were lighter as I was saying yesterday, FP2 times were nowhere near representative. For those who think we always are taking it easy on Fridays, please take note.

Sadly I think k with the lower wing that we will not score points tomorrow, let's hope I'm wrong.

Not far off probably the best we could have got. A track that doesn't suit, but given it as good as they can.

But..I hope Ferrari can get tge win tomorrow.

I also want Ferrari to get the victory cause they deserve it but I have a feeling that on race pace Verstappen will eat them for breakfast. We weren't that weak though here as I was afraid but the team has to continue upgrading the car not only to fix that slow corner speed but the drag. In terms of drag here they were way better than Spa.

Oscar looked like his was struggling a bit today up until that last flying lap in Q3. I’m sure Lando will have noticed.

Hmmm. I knew it was going to be a tough weekend. I am even somewhat surprised that both cars reached the third segment. Given the unimportant pace, tomorrow we may not score points. But mentally I'm ready.
