Does anyone know how strictly the teams have to put new parts in there, could it be that they have done something special with the front wing so they don't have to list it in the document?
With something like a front wing they would definitely have to list the change!

But not if materials under a cover layer, flexible screw connections, fastenings or similar have been changed.

Only rear corner deflectors in the update list, once again quite disappointing.

And once again an own goal for a lot of journalists who reported for weeks about this new front wing. Curiously guys like Schmidt or Fabrega did not. =D>
A lot of times that upgrade predictions were missed this season, of which Im at fault as well for sharing them. Though I guess it could be a good thing as it could mean Aston shield their information well. Other teams such as Ferrari with the Italian media's power seem to be worse with the amount of leaks. Good for them honestly.

It's not our fault to share it, but as you mentioned it, especially at AMR, we should be very cautious who gives the informations. I remember Michael Schmidt said some months ago that he has no real informations from AMR what they will bring to each race, as they are very quiet about it. But he knew long time before Canada from Whitmarsh that they will bring their big update there.

Hakkinen I believe has been correct in the past, at least with his McLaren mid season surge prediction.

I am just the courier of the message, wouldn't even post it, if it didn't come from such a well respected journalist (and he has his infos from a team for sure...).

"updates will arrive at friday morning":
"Even though the European leg of the season has finished, we're still bringing parts to the car. It's not as easy to bring those parts to the track for flyaway races and we have to account for delivery time, but we will have late freight that arrives to the track all the way until Friday morning – sometimes spares of updated parts arrive even later than that. It can be a real logistical challenge and some countries are harder to deliver to than others – but it's all well planned for."
"Lost in translation" I would say once again. They didn't talk about Singapore in specific, just their update plans for the rest of the flyaway races and how late those new parts can arrive...
To be honest, there might be something to those simulations as they're looking pretty underwhelming at the moment. I know, I know... It's only 1st practice...

Krack:
- pretty satisfied
- they had quite a big test programme
- they were later with the softs than others (track improvements)
- but they drove pretty conservative

Krack is however very hard to read in my opinion body language wise. When they interview Marko, you always know were RBR stands, AMR could be 2nd or 5th however...
