- pretty satisfied
- they had quite a big test programme
- they were later with the softs than others (track improvements)
- but they drove pretty conservative

Krack is however very hard to read in my opinion body language wise. When they interview Marko, you always know were RBR stands, AMR could be 2nd or 5th however...

I dont trust krack words u dont see a real picture where the car stand reading his comments i think that Fernando save them many many times this year the car is not so fast as they think stroll is pretty far they have 5 fastest car im sure about that !

Under the budget cap restrictions how does Mclaren have enough resource to do two such massive upgrade packages?

Watching the onboards, Alonso had quite a few big moments almost every lap. I know the track was a bit green and slippery but it reminded me a bit of Hungary. So, not surprised by the pace. Mclaren have been really impressive in their development program though.

It's a bit baffling. The car was super planted and had great balance earlier in the year. I know the Canada upgrade messed that up but seems they've lost the main strength or the car with the upgrades. Bit disappointing.

I think we can expect Magic Alonso this weekend. He has phenominal starts over here, plus I can count on Leclerc to crash frm the lead or Ferrari to screw it up. Best chance of the year.

Yes looking a way better than FP1 for Alonso; the battle will be with mercedes and norris !

boardline or borderline? well lets hope for a smooth qualy, and it seems Alonso's long run is better than the Ferrari and Mercedes
