Leclerc and Perez should swap seats  . This seems like the logical conclusion in terms of car preference.

That sounds like heaven for someone that has a Leclerc preference. That sounds like hell for someone that is a lifetime Tifoso.

The really insane thing to me is that you need to use an understeery balance as well to make the car less unstable, which it's even worse for Leclerc.
Thanks to Brandon great intuition, we also discovered that, despite all of this, Leclerc was still running "more front wing" than Sainz in Monza.

Moreover another year where Ferrari upgrades were absolutely subpar. They brought like 5 different floors, 4 of which were completely useless with minimal changes. A lot of rear wings like last year and the revised sidepods.

Alonso had his chance in 2010 to win with Ferrari and blew it by making an insane amount of mistakes in the first half of the season.
IIRC, the 2010 Ferrari was awful following a terrible 2009 concept... Nando evolved that dog through sheer talent.
This is completely wrong. While the RB was the fastest car the 2010 Ferrari was not bad. It was the quickest car in some tracks as well. Moreover, Webber, Vettel and RB were clowning pretty much every race with mistakes, reliability issues, bad pit stops, etc.

Unfortunately, Alonso had one of his worst seasons in terms of consistency.

Specifically:

- Racing incident in the first corner in Melbourne
- False start in China ---> DT
- Binned the car in FP3 in Monaco and couldn't take part in qualifying. Considering Massa ended up 4th a front row was absolutely possible
- Embarrassing performance in Turkey -> Qualified 12th and finished 8th / Massa qualified 8th and finished 7th
- Overtook Kubica by cutting the corner in Silverstone --> DT
- Got it wrong in the first run in Q3 in SPA and thus started 10th. Binned the car in the race after it started raining.

A lot of mistakes considering Alonso usual consistency.
If you go frame by frame on the Alonso's start at china, alonso didn't jump the start.

in silverstone alonso cut that corner, but the maFIA waited until kubica retired the car to penalyze alonso not giving him the oportunity to give back the position. And it wastn a simple corner cut, Alonso was pushed off the track.

Alonso didnt binned the car in Spa, his car was damaged by Barrichello and was racing all the race with a trouble on the steering.

Marc Gene says Singapore won't be as good as Spa or Monza but it won't be as bad as Hungary or Zandvoort. He also says a top 5 would be a good result, a podium is difficult and qualy will be better than the race.

He literally did, incredible, he laughed and said it's better than expected, good banter though (or not?).

Leclerc lost almost 0.2s in S3 due to traffic.

The fact that he is already this quick is a very good sign considering the SF 23.

He also said no flap changes

Yes this horrible unpredictable car that gives the drivers zero confidence at all times looks like a pole contender this weekend

LEC won all poles in Baku. I don’t know why people are surprised.

I think it's a combination of fixing the front wing that apparently was causing issue with the high dwf rear wing plus a track where there are a lot of short or 90 degrees corners in which you need great braking and traction, and not a lot of downforce :D
