For all we know Ferrari likely had solid fuel impregnated ablative pistons! No one knows.

Anyway..

On the aero, Tombazis is saying that the teams are playing with what should be solid mounting points, to makem act as slides, hinges or levers. Do you remember in the 2010's when the front wing mounts could split apart to aid bendy wings? Think of this but on a much smaller scale.

We already know that Apline has a wobly wing, and RedBull has a rear wing endplates that are basicaly rudders... We have seen so many hints... The big one I think is the mounting in the floors. The floor skin is very shallow in certain places... And the metal bracket part has some sort of mechanism to it.... Well.. My suspiscions at least.
 The rudder thing you just made up, no one has heard that before. As far as "metal bracket mechanisms". Yeah, the mechanism is called supporting the floor edge, copied by most teams.
Ahem!!

RedBull in 7th and 8th. Drivers complaining of poor braking and rear grip! It's obvious now that they have been hit the hardest by this TD.
Very reactionary. Disappointing

The FIA just finished clamping down on plank abuse in the middle of last season. It ruined Ferrari’s concept. It’s quite illogical to think that RB’s response was to then imitate Ferrari and build their car around a plank trick.

None of this is logical or rational. Repeat until in agreement.

It will take multiple weekends and types of tracks to understand who is and is not affected by the TDs...

The TD that had more impact was for the wings, at least this was the rumor.

RBR has been the king of wing flex for decades at this point, they had the "DRS trick" which might turn out to be nothing more than running lots of wing flex so they can run more DF and benefit more from DRS. Wouldn't it be "funny" if this was indeed what happened after all this time?

I thought the rear wings had dots on to help them spot wings what were flexing a lot?

Too early to tell that. Not to mention this "rudder" thing was just made up by you.

Would be a solid theory if their rear wing actually flexed, but it hasn't since 2022.

Nah, not really. Suzuka is next week, and it's an all-rounder track that'll expose balance problems and downforce/efficiency deficits. We will have 2 very different tracks to take data from and if someone is struggling it'll be easily visible. Actually if RB have a problem winning in Japan we'll have solid evidence they got hit the most.

Ya know, it's fascinating ... 10 pages, 144 posts, several pages worth of posts deleted, countless posts about this topic scattered in other threads, endless theories and accusations of which team supposedly does what and who will be affected - not a single piece of actual analysis thus far.

Why do people think RBR got hit the most by the TD's? We had only two FP's. They were in the past bad on Friday.

It's just confirmation bias, everyone thinks whatever they see confirms what they believe - no one would think there's any change in the pecking order without the knowledge of the TDs being in place.

Because the drivers are complaining of balance problems and they are not half a second up the road. It's pretty clear. As others are saying, Japan will be the confirmation.

Did this TD break the RB19? What evidence has there been from si.ilar Street tracks this year that would conclude that the RB19 should not work well here?
