Very interesting to see the Redbull after the removal of illegal flexing floors.
It might just be track specific, but that Red Bull doesn't look like the rocket ship
it's been all season.

Max is out in Q2?

This is what happens when his car is equal.

I'm not sure it's totally track specific.
That car has been on rails all season. That doesn't disappear completely in one weekend without some outside intervention.

How can one of the greatest ever drivers be out qualified by a rookie in the alpha tauri and knocked out of q2 with the best car-team package of the grid?
FairPlay to Lawson, he out qualified every red bull driver on the grid

I'm a bit bewildered how this car can work in tracks like Monaco, Baku and not work well here. It's certainly has capable mechanical underpinnings! Maybe its all out of whack with the aerodyanmics now.

Maybe they should put Lawson in that other seat, he could go faster

Ferrari is the only team with two new sets of Softs for Q3. All others are doing their first run on used tyres

in the end, the crash may have saved Alonso from getting kicked out in Q1, at least. It was close between him, Hamilton, Norris and Stroll
They were all safe, the only drivers who could drop out in Q1 were:
- Bottas, Zhou, Sargeant (all 100% out as they already had finished their laps)
- Stroll who did not improve enough and would have been out even without the crash
- Albon (in the hot seat and already done his lap)
- Piastri (still going)
everyone else was going to Q2.

He needed to make a statement and he’s done so.
