Silly russel!!
Always too impetuos. Merc should have put hamilton through.

Good win Sainz!! Driver of the race for me!!
He is maybe the most tactical driver in F1 today. Moreso than Alonso.

Ferrari #1 driver despite what leclerc fans think.
You are damn right about Sainz.

Hamilton so much faster in that last stint than George. George should have let him past to try get past Norris.
Karma! As Alonso says. But Hamilton could have won if they put him ahead.
For those who were watching closely hamilton took his time to bring in the tyres. Russel stomped on it right as he came out the pits to chase leclerc. Lewis fell back about 5 seconds and let the rubber come in, so i knew russel would have cooked the rubber.
For Sure!!

What a race.

If Sainz was truly backing-up Norris there for DRS defence... that is absolutely brilliant thinking.

Finally the Red Bull run is broken... and by Ferrari of all things!

Reminds me of 1988 when McLaren one everything, aside from Monza... the only team do beat them that season. Might be the case for this season too!
Yeah he was. His engineer told him the gap was 0.8 and Sainze responded that it was on purpose! Very Prost-esque!!

Sainz has the best race strategy on the grid. He is always very aware of the race situation and makes great decisions for it

Well I think that's AMRs constructors challenge truly dead. If Ferrari keep this up they are genuinely on for P2 in constructors.

Are we calling this one an instant classic? Sainz with the masterclass. Congrats to him and Ferrari!

After getting mugged af by the RBR drivers this week, Yuki should get to swap with Perez for Suzuka. Heck, I'd swap Lawson and Max for it as well.

It’s a shame because Hamilton I believe could have pulled it off.

Russell is very good and promising but he has not polished his race craft and pace yet.

Mr. Saturday should start setting up the car for the race. Lewis would’ve had a better shot, better pace all race. But we’ll played Carlos with the DRS

Phenomenal race. Sainz drove brilliantly and tactically, somehow finished 21 sec ahead of his teammate, really taking control of the number 1 driver role at Ferrari.
Russell once again a nuisance for Mercedes. He's fast enough to beat Hamilton, but then he gets in the way. On top of that he puts the car in the wall after holding up Lewis for how many laps. Unbelievable. In a real championship battle he will cost Mercedes dearly.

Ironical years of being underestimated and being the slower of his teammatez have allowed him to strengthen the other skills needed to manage a race. Since he went to mclaren then came to ferrari he has been a good tactician. He deserved this win. And he will get more without needing to be the fastest.
For Sure!!

Really good job by SAI. Shows that track position is still key here, and executed perfectly with NOR as a buffer.

Also VER higher at P5 than expected after their setup woes.

I'm actually still in awe of that Sainz performance. That is one of the, if no the greatest drive in F1. Led every lap and managed the race as perfectly as you can
