Sainz showing champion qualities. That was an extremely good performance. Well deserved.

Hoped for Lando though, want to see him win soon!

Really good job by SAI. Shows that track position is still key here, and executed perfectly with NOR as a buffer.

Also VER higher at P5 than expected after their setup woes.
Hindsight is 20/20, but if Red Bull had pit him for mediums in the first safety car he would have won the race

Dang Russell slapping half a second on Lewis. Are they having him run experimental setups again?
Ha, that comment aged well, eh?

Lewis haters were getting ready for a George win but not today boys...not today
George did his job today!
By crashing? Is that in his job description?

That was an awesome race!
Epic finale, a real shame for GR, the podium would have been deserved, great call by the Mercedes pit wall on the VSC tyre change. Somehow MV salvages a result that seemed impossible yesterday.

It was a shame indeed, but he got way too greedy hitting the wall which unsettled the car.

Norris did it too, but much more lightly and kept the car on track.

This is what we want to see as fans of this sport. Close racing with a bit of sporting drama sprinkled in, the hope of watching races like this is what makes us wake up at any hour of the day on a Sunday. What would I give for this season to have a RB, FR, McL and Merc battle for the remainder of it.

I agree it aged badly.

George setting things up and concentrating on a Saturday as always. But 9/10 has an average race at best.

Hamilton gained 5 seconds on him and would have won that race.

Merc made the wrong call, if GR didn't crash he would've finished 3rd, when he was already running 2nd. They should have only pitted Hamilton and they would have had a better chance at the win.

Wow I thought Max could win from any place on the grid… 😂

George was just silly! Sorry to say that but he lost his chance the first time he tried to pass Norris! Probably pressure got into him at the end! Lewis could have done it!

At last we get a proper race in over a year! Maybe now F1 and Red Bull fans can at last realize how proper F1 must be…instead of playing it ignorant and trying to convince everyone to enjoy Max’s dominance! 😉😉

I'm actually still in awe of that Sainz performance. That is one of the, if no the greatest drive in F1. Led every lap and managed the race as perfectly as you can
It was a great bit of awareness and saved his win, in all likelihood. =D>
