Normal service will resume at Suzuka. I will be very shocked if that's not the case.

It certainly showed pace, what was the tyre deficit between Max and the mercedes? Could be worth looking at their stints?

Everyone was cruising. Ferrari used 2019 race strategy.

Well I think that's AMRs constructors challenge truly dead. If Ferrari keep this up they are genuinely on for P2 in constructors.

With the lower wind tunnel and cfd allowances, P1 is the only constructors position worth fighting for, better to be in P4 than P2(for the next season) regardless of the money.

I dont know how they would have compared if Sainz was not managing the pace completely to his liking, but they could have won the race if they played their cards right

I’m not so sure you deserve a podium when losing that podium place due to an unforced error taking you out of the race. You need to deliver fully, all laps. The ones who finished on the podium were all more deserving.

George was catching Lando at around 1.8 seconds or so a lap until he got right behind him. I don't recall seeing anywhere close to 4?

Then again, it was clear Lewis had an advantage of his own to George.

4s? 2s at best and most of that was during the chase on newer tyres. By the time they'd caught Norris, much of the tyre dominance was reduced and was probably down to 1s - about 1s short of what is said to be required to overtake easily.

Verstappen had good pace in clear air on hards and mediums, but it wasn't the same dominant display we saw earlier this season.

Toto saying post race he thinks RB will be back to normal next race Singapore is just an odd track. Even when Merc was dominating Singapore threw up some off results where they struggled.

Toto expects them to be dominant again in Suzuka. This was an outlier, with a woeful setup.
