Red Bull and Max Verstappen returned to the forefront again in Japan. Max Verstappen had an easy Grand Prix to win the race, enough to secure Red Bulls victory in the Constructors Championship. Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri completed the podium with an impressive performance for McLaren.
As far as I understand, they are free to use over both sessions, so not according to a "run plan" (like it was the case on one or two occasions last year).
Wing level quite low compared to last year. I guess a dry race is expected which helps. Looks like RB, Ferrari are running single element beamwings from what I can see
We won’t know till quali McLaren have a tendency to dawdle from fp1-fp3 an will most likely spend practice perfecting the upgrades from Singapore that being said on paper this track ticks all the boxes for McLaren so maybe they can give redbull a headache
I think McLaren's gonna be the main challenger to RBR.
I'm putting my money on Mercedes being 2nd fastest because their pace is more consistent but not by much. Red Bull will massacre the whole field anyway.
