Piastri is funny/underwhelming to hear on the radio - always sounds so emotionless.

Plus Piastri got "partial" VSC as he was already in when VSC was called. So he did not get full benefit of a VSC stop.

Good job Piastri! P2-P3 to the finish now.
Is there any advantage when you are on the speed limiter and VSC suddenly starts?
There's still advantage and you'll keep most of it.

Piastris net loss was still around 12s.

He reminds me of Jon Snow, but that was wooden acting lol

Others need to slow down so your loss is smaller than usually.
Put is the pit lane speed limiter slower than on track VSC pace?
Also Oscar was in his box when VSC started so is there any advantage leaving the box and entering back onto the track under VSC?
Just a fan's point of view

Only a 20s gap to Norris from Ver. The TD thread will have a meltdown.
I know I should know what TD stands for but it’s early here… help me out please?🤣

Yes the limiter is slower but you lose a lot less time as on track is slower. He gained around 10s from the VSC I think. Definate gain.

What a car! What a result.

Good job guys - it say a lot when we get 2-3 and I don't feel elated - the car is so good and the drivers are delivering. If only VER wasn't so dominant it would be a winning season for us.

Whatever the case - it is a benefit as pitstop delta is influenced by speed on the track. If the cars on track are slow (rain, SC or VSC) - your loss from a pitstop is less.

Now let's see if people still doubt Lando is world class.

A great job from Oscar, but he still has a little bit left to learn on a Sunday. The same as Lando did in his rookie year where he out-qualified Sainz but was a little behind in pace come race day

Fantastic result today 2nd and 3rd! Great for Oscars first F1 podium!

Lando's pace was exceptional today. Oscar was on a lower df setup I think so that might explain some of the gap? Still great day for the team!

Considering NOR lost 4s to VER in VSC and another 1s or so behind PIA. The “real gap” was more like 15s behind VER. But he was probably still taking it very easy.

Fantastic result for the team! Lando only 20 seconds off Max despite losing over 10 seconds after the Perez incident, brilliant drive. Oscar struggled with tyre management, but held it together under pressure for a first podium. Bravo!
