Has the suspension actually changed here or is it the bodywork? It looks like the bodywork has moved downwards, which make it look like a suspension change but I'm not sure it has.
I agree with the idea that the visual comparison is not concrete. The bodywork has changed and the angles are not identical. If I remember correctly the rear suspension changes for the rb19 relative to rb18 are hard to distinguish from this angle and the outboard pickup points and overhead view are the places where differences can be seen.
I believe it has changed though, based on this report. This is Italian media reporting on it about an italy-based team and the outlet has been the most consistently reliable in F1 this season. Can't remember anything they put out being disproven
After Singapore upgrade happened the team said in hindsight it was mostly mechanical components and I was wondering what.. But rear suspension would make sense.
The article also mentions a new floor for Abu Dhabi. If we don't have confirmation or good visual comparisons by then, if the new floor arrives in Abu Dhabi then it lends credence to them having good info from inside the team.
