Congratulations to Oscar. A perfect race with a lot of difficulties with the tires. Lando, in spite of the podium, bad, very bad.
It wasn't that bad. 2 bad starts but in the end he pulled it back. But yes it does highlight the current conversation.

Max couldn't do much against Piastri, which was good to see.

The Empire of Papaya Orange is coming to end Max Verstappen's reign and restore the natural order of F1. I believe next year might be our time to shine.

I know its trendy to bash Lando. But that was not at all bad, let alone very bad.

Let's not bash Lando. Even Max had a terrible start. It can happen to anyone.

I doubt Red Bull are going to be beaten next year, but I hope we can challenge a bit more often.

Starting on the dirty side and sorrounded by people on reds... Overtook them all back except for Max. By far not such a bad drive...

The moment Oscar unlocks his race pace it is going to be tough for Lando

The softs were the best tyre for the start(s) and the first half, that was clear. So being passed by them, which lando and Max did, was a lot down to tyre choice, which turned out correct in the end.

Let's wait and see. Never say never. If the team keeps outdeveloping all the rest by that much in the winter and during the next season expect a car that might be uncatchable. Think of it. The new car will be one on the new facilities. If the team manages to produce that result with an outdated facility I can't wait to see what they can do on a fully updated.

it certainly wasn't great either. Listen, you're a fan of Lando, I get it, but you have to be honest about his performances. He was supposed to fight Oscar for the lead and dropped back to 6th instead, gave Max the space and was dropped by Max, Russell was on softs but the pace he went by Lando was crazy. The weird line on the safety car restart gave him work to do stuck behind charles. It was not a good race for him but he did what he needed to do and pulled it back.

Apparently it is, why is it though? For the life of me, I can't understand it. Constructive criticism is fine, everybody who aims to excel needs that, but bashing for the sake of bashing is just plain stupid...
Q: (Stefano Mancini – La Stampa) Kimi, will you help Vettel to win his championship this year?
Kimi Raikkonen: I can only drive one car, obviously.

Agreed, not sure how dropping 1 place to the fastest car/driver on the gird equates to "very bad" if anything, this was best case scenario due to the SC's

I'm just going to say one more thing. The rookie this weekend looks like Lando instead of Oscar. That has two readings, one speaks very well of Oscar and the other speaks very badly of Lando. Let each one take what they consider. I am one of those who takes half and half.

Fair points, but everybody who passed him was on the sofas, except Max, who started on the clean side of the grid, his launch looked OK, just poor, poor grip. Oscar did very well though, near perfect drive.
