Who?
Q: (Stefano Mancini – La Stampa) Kimi, will you help Vettel to win his championship this year?
Kimi Raikkonen: I can only drive one car, obviously.

Max had time in hand, don't be in any doubt that the real gap is bigger.
I am confident that the gap is not as big as you think. Verstappen was worried today. In any case Mclaren should work even harder to turn the tables and I am confident this time they will make it. Don't forget that Piastri and Norris lost a lot of time passing cars while Verstappen didn't need to do that.

No way we could have caught Verstappen at the end. He had much fresher mediums and plenty of pace.

We could have had team fight and crash out and everyone would be screaming why fight against each other when there is no reason to. Good decision by the team - now Piastri got the benefit of being ahead.

Piastri decided to be a cat and lie down to the floor.

As suspected, VER acknowledges the race pace of the Macca had him worried. That qualifying and therefore compromised first stint really made a material difference.

Great showing today on race pace. Plus 1.8s pitstop in the end. Unsure about the team order, don’t think it was necessary. But it’s a luxury problem for us now

Oscar Piastri is starting to gain my favor over Lando Norris bit by bit.

It looks so much like 1997. Mclaren is fast, somehow close to Red Bull but can't beat them yet unless something happens. Let's see with the newcomers from Red Bull and Ferrari the car might gain some innovations that will make it do a 1998 repeat.

With a 2 and 3 on the start grid and a free tyre choice we could have gone hunting.

Good day to have a heart attack, at least in the Football!

I'm celebrating this more than the football though. As I say, the gap to everyone behind us is enormous. If this season was 10 races longer we'd finish with the fastest car.

Then again, RB clearly sacrificed development this year to satisfy the budget cap penalty.

Why sacrifice development. As past showed they wouldn't have goten any serious consequences.

I'm not sure life could have been made much easier than what happened at the start. Only Lando had to fight to get 3rd but that was fairly routine.
