Any new parts coming in the last 5 races ? They should have gotten the 2024 car in the last 3 races and actually run it to get real race data and make sure correlation is accurate
That's impossible as the new car requires a complete different chassis.

So I'm watching the Engine Braking podcast at the moment, and Dan (EngineMode11) said that Carlos Sainz dropped the subtle hint in an interview, that the reason they didn't discover the fuel leak that prevented him racing in Qatar on Sunday, was that they never did any high fuel runs during the weekend including in Free Practice.

Had Ferrari done high fuel runs on Friday, they likely would have discovered and fixed the issue.

This might also have made Ferrari look quicker in practice the they actually were.

Due to BC reasons is likely that they are not replacing all the components like they used to do before, and maybe a key piece was indeed slightly damaged from previous races. In such a demanding track like Qatar with so many "big" kerbs is likely that the piece was damaged beyond repair post sprint race.

The car can't be refuelled until a certain time before the race as Vasseur said, so they couldn't have discovered the problem earlier. Fuel tank problems and check-ups like this are really well known since the birth of F1 and way before that, but this time the changes in format on Sprint weekend caught the team unprepared. In fact, I'm not certain any team would have been able to find the problem any sooner than Ferrari did - which is why teams would be wise to demand some changes to pre-race procedures and timing.
And they call it a stall. A STALL!

Fair enough. But just ditch gimmick FP3 and sprint format. Problem solved. Crews are overworked already.

Unfortunately, the powers that be will want to keep things as they are exactly because it causes uncertainty with the results due not only to reduced set-up time but also possible reliability or “dispatch” reliability issues, as was the case with Sainz’s car.

But that's been far from the thruth with any sprint race this season, actually for all of them to date. They have been as predictable as the sun rising tomorrow.

The Haas will be RB concept with Ferrari engine and Ferrari suspension. Of course Ferrari is not working directly with Haas because that is verboten but I'm certain there are things that anyone could learn from "afar".

But at the same time, they are the only team that managed to defeat RB this year.

Max Verstappen asked about driving for Ferrari at some point in a recent interview. Suggests that it could be possible.
"Ferrari has an incredible history in this sport and is a formidable opponent to compete against. Future at Ferrari? When my current contract expires, I will be 31, and I think I can still do well."

I read that he would like to buy Michael Schumacher's F2004 as well.

So Leclerc forgot this was the 100th weekend with Ferrari. I can relate.
These 5 years have been absolutely awful and there is nothing to celebrate so not hard to forget.
