Note that AMR is not AM. If Geely buy 100% of Aston Martin, they'll still own 0% of AMR. AM is just a title sponsor and pays AMR for that privilege.
Don't think anything has been said about it, at least publicly. There's hearsay but nothing confirmed.

Geely is actively seeking other manufacturer partnerships, Honda cars are in trouble due to slow EV take up. A join up via F1 would make sense if they partner in car manufacturing.
If you owned 100% of AM, sold it, and spent all that Money to buy shares of Honda. You'd be lucky to end up with 5% of Honda's shares. Such is the size difference in the 2 companies. Geely only owns in the 20% range of AM.

Quick look on the NYSE and I can see Honda stock is up 25% for the year. This isn't growth looks more like covid recovery. I'm no expert but this doesn't look like they're struggling.
