That's what many teams seemed to do last time out at Qatar.. I was surprised then too. But maybe this is just where the rb19 is happiest when the track is as bumpy as we are seeing

There's something wrong with the tires in these photos. There is a vertical discontinuity in the thread especially on the right-hand side tires. I suspect some of the tire deformation is due to aberrations caused by not using a high-speed camera.
One of the most obvious errors he's made in the year. I guess we'll see if it actually matters come Sunday
The car still has loads of understeer and struggle in T1, and T13 on almost every single lap. I don't see the race nearly so straightforward. Sunday is also expected to be quite a bit cooler so will have even more understeer.
