New floor diffuser new bargebord out in Q1
Considering how little running and how much the car has changed, with only 1 session it seems quite understandable to me

They should break parc ferme for both the sprint and the race and use the weekend as a test session

I'm not so upset about the lack of pace but their lack of overview and awful traffic management is unacceptable for a team fighting for P4. It was a matter of not more than a second that Alonso managed to start a new lap at all.

Not sure if this is what happened but it wouldn't surprise me if they changed something but it didn't work. Agree with your comment, they should break parc ferme.

It's difficult to ask now but people have to calm down, it's most likely not the new parts. Apart that some of them are proven concepts that worked across the grid.

Canada's updates were thought to be initially successful but we know what happened afterwards. Same thing could be applied here but on the inverse, so imo jumping to conclusions like that is early still

probably not having the right setup and hot track temps. but still you wouldn't bring a big upgrade package if you didn't think it would bring performance straightaway

it's worry, since aren't these also meant for 2024?!

Breaking Parc fermé is probably a good idea.

Based on past precedent, it's a rather worrying sign. But the car still may have potential - I'm feeling much more distressed over the horrible decisions taken by the team when it comes to their approach & strategy. That doesn't bode well at all.

The strategy was definitely wrong, there's no coping mechanism left to use there, Alonso was left out too late.

I start a bit worrying about Aston. Look the Haas and Williams or even Mercedes brought upgrades and they all front of Aston. Let's see tomorrow the sprint race, but the car just slow everywhere.

Alonso just said they'll use the weekend as a test for next year.

i don't understand how they managed to develop a car that fast over last winter. but everything they've added during the course of the season has ruined the balance and speed of the car

I wasn't expecting it this bad but they made a major change and it would have major effects on the setup.

yes but Haas brought a b-spec car and outqualified them.

Mclaren brought b and c spec cars and hit the ground running.

It shouldn't be so hard to unlock what was on paper supposed to be an upgrade.

Sure but those teams didnt have one car out and the other do only 6 laps to be honest, you'd be completely blindfolded in what to do with the car. At least that's what fernando said.
