Leclerc will walk away at this rate. Ridiculous strategy from Ferrari to try and make a 1 stop work. Sainz should have done the 1 stop and put leclerc on the 2 stop
Leclerc won’t walk away. He is too much in love with Ferrari to find someone else. For his sake hope he does. This team cannot win with strategy.

Pathetic and I didn’t even watch the race but I know my strategy was going to be better. Even a rando from reddit was going to have a better strategy. Overthinking a situation where the best is limiting losses… pathetic.

Vasseur to sky:
"Leclerc's strategy was clearly wrong and we ruined his race. We had wrong predictions in hand, we are not happy because we need to have a clearer picture already before the race."

They need to go after someone from RB's strategy dept. People already in place are clearly clueless, and removing Rueda from pit wall did nothing to alleviate the situation.

I usually am not a fan of a reshuffle, but I think it’s about time we see big changes in the strategy department. They’ve had so much time and opportunities to show some improvement. I’m tired of watching embarrassing decisions race after race when even simple people in front of their TVs at home can see the obvious mistakes.

They are not in F1 to win, in fact they are making the same mistakes over and over

Even if Ferrari just followed RB strategy for most of the races they would be fine. Putting Sainz on softs for sprint, Leclerc 1 stop for race….just stop inventing.

The last 3 years at COTA ('19,'21,'22) have been cut and dry 2 stop races.

I think it's okay to try the 1 stopper, even Merc tried this clueless strategy with their best asset (Hamilton),. But when they saw it didnt work they revert to a 2 stoppers. Ferrari never did that, but the picture was pretty clear after lap 22/3 lets say...

I think Charles could've finished P3 with the 2 stoppers in fact, which is encouraging for the car on such a track.

Of course. Only Ferrari and Mercedes which are awful on strategy tried this stupid idea. Mercedes at least was able to switch to a 2 stop in time because they are not as stupid as Ferrari.

Mentally challenged strategists as always. And it has to be Charles every time and I bet some people here will always try to challenge that.

First putting Charles on a one stopper and then making him let Sainz through with no chance to catch Norris.
waving Sainz through was obviously the right call, though.

And Leclerc's strategy was wrong indeed of course, but to see one positive thing at least: tire wear issues are gone. A couple of races ago, there's no way Ferrari could have even thought about doing less stops than the competition.
