And Leclerc's strategy was wrong indeed of course, but to see one positive thing at least: tire wear issues are gone. A couple of races ago, there's no way Ferrari could have even thought about doing less stops than the competition.

I think it's okay to try the 1 stopper, even Merc tried this clueless strategy with their best asset (Hamilton),. But when they saw it didnt work they revert to a 2 stoppers. Ferrari never did that, but the picture was pretty clear after lap 22/3 lets say...

I think Charles could've finished P3 with the 2 stoppers in fact, which is encouraging for the car on such a track.

Yeah, this tbh. I think it was ok to try - at one point it looked like it could have been ok - but the others saw it wasn’t going to work early enough and adjusted. Regardless of what they said before the race, they shouldn’t have just stuck with it regardless of what’s playing out in front of their eyes.

Strange how racing works. Last two weekends, Sainz DNS and 3rd, Leclerc 5th and DSQ. Fingers crossed both drivers can score next race.

At least Ferrari will gain a few points on Mercedes.

They “try something different” with Sainz on the soft in the sprint, and now the ridiculous one stopper… this staff is just as bad, if not worse, than Binottos. Mercedes and McLaren can make big advances in-season, and 19 race weekends in we still cant understand that this car has high deg.

The deg was actually good on Ferrari considering the wing level. It was much lower wing than others and had better degradation than McLaren.

The deg was actually good on Ferrari considering the wing level. It was much lower wing than others and had better degradation than McLaren.

There are question marks surrounding the validity of the data from this weekend considering that some cars were running too low (i.e had more floor performance than they should have had).

Sainz probably had the same ride heights. They just didn't check his car. The result is official now. No more inspections. What a mess for the teammate battle.

Sainz did beat Russell so Ferrari closes on Mercedes in the constructors.

There is a high likely hood at at Russell and Sainz would've also failed the checks. The checks are random.
