I have to agree with the rest. If Norris wants to challenge for the championship next year or in 2025 he must stop making these mistakes.

Lando effing up his Q runs again now he’ll get caught in all the crap at the end of Q1
It happens way too often, and I'm not being horrible to the guy, but too many errors in his Qualy sessions. It's great when he pulls it together on the last lap, but that doesn't always happen, or he doesn't get the chance.

Is Norris out due to the Yellow Flag?
He aborts too many Q laps if you ask me. Always set a time- it’s qualifying durrrrr🤦🏼‍♂️
If he had continued his medium run he would have more than likely got into Q2

Another mistake from Lando in quali.. A clean lap would've been enough - It's Q1

WIth a competitive teammate you see the flaws

OK, that looks like over confidence crept in. Now, they can take the engine penalty I guess.

One of them things. Annoying, but he and the team have enough recent credit in the bank.

Not sure. I think Piastri was quicker than Norris on a medium run - and he was not good enough.

Bad medium laps by McLaren - Mercedes was about 1s faster.

McLaren looked like a bunch of idiots this Q1 on Lando's side. Sent him on Medium, put to abort, keep him until last minutes, yellow flag...all perfect. We --- this GP right from the beggining.

Opportunity to change PU now and have a rocket for the rest of the season, points still available tomorrow from Lando, Oscar looks good!

The car is fast enough to be close to Verstappen as Piastri's time proved. It was the mistakes of Norris that costed him today.

Medium was team error...they were too slow for this quali. Also keeping them too long in pits when knowing a yellow flag was possible, second error. Of course, this with Lando's error, brought us an amazing and wonderful P20.

The team instructed him to abort

Vertstappen would be half a second further quicker than his own time if he'd run at the same time as Piastri.

Stop defending Lando at all costs. His work this year in the qualy is clearly deficient.

Agreed. Just looked over the timings again and I think he would have struggled to make Q2 on his medium run

In the meantime Norris is under investigation for failing to reduce enough speed on the ALonso incident along with his huge mistakes.
