I think maybe they don't want to rish a new engine blowing up in the high altitude if they think this one can last, and maybe it's in better shape than we think, but I still think he's at a disadvantage like he was in Suzuka. Especially in Brazil, where a lot of the track is full throttle

Make that makes sense. Genuinely bizarre choice.

Hard to believe that Lando is going to be able to finish the whole season on only the allocated 3 PU without taking any sort of penalty, be that a grid drop due to extra components or a performance drop due to a worn down engine.

The Mclarens usually start well, so could gain a few positions on the start. Who knows early safety car could help too.
