why have they not reverted to the previous lap? surely our sporting director should be all over this!

we have to, only other option is a used hard which will probably last as long

I think medium, even new, is not a good idea. Hard is best option, because Lando had excellent pace on this tyre and you can run for all 36 laps.

Medium for McLaren and Mercedes. Hard for RB and Ferarrus

But this is as good as it gets - we get a short race with mediums against many hard runners. Distances reset. We could still get another safety car.

Probably a heavily used hard.

I'm just annoyed the team lost two spots for Lando due to pitting before an obvious red flag.

All the meds will need to pit again, which means they don't need to manage pace.
