Dammit Lando Norris. You could have been on any position on the podium again if it wasn't for those mistakes. He is flying.
I don't think he could do much at the restart, wouldn't call that a mistake. The real mistake was qualifying.

If Lando was not pinched at the restart or if he did not pit before the red flag - his current pace is good enough for a podium.
He was pinched cos he spun his wheels, dropped like a lead balloon and was pincered.

Lando had pace for another podium today👌🏻
It would have been 5 in a row

Honestly, this has been more fun to watch, than if Lando started 4 and came 2nd or 3rd.

As a McLaren fan I really enjoy reading all the posts here and don’t even get too bothered by the Lando/Piastri favouritism etc but this comment is so unnecessary and inappropriate!
If you read a lot of the comments it isn't really about favouritism, but comparing performance. The fan bias comes in when people think their favourite driver needs protecting at all costs.
Absolutely. The majority I find great to read and based on the situation as I see it (Lando could have done better in quali etc) occasionally it dips into bashing due to bias but it’s rare. Always enjoy your inputs!

I am extremely pleased with our line up and rate both extremely highly. Now let’s go get Russell!
Thanks, I appreciate it :D

The next hard is gasly in 12th though.
When these tyres go off the cliff, 10s is not a great distance. .
We'll see. I doubt they would push as hard if they thought the tyres will fall apart.

Team should swap and let Lando try and beat Ricciard. Oscar has damage.
Yeah I was being over cautios. Oscar is in his finishing position.
Lando on a charge.

Are we still terrible in slow corners? Lol Traction issues?? Nope.

Not great, but most certainly not bad in the corners.

Our issue getting in and out of corners is the nose.

And now watch in two laps how much will he get from the Ferraris though in my opinion he doesnt need to push anymore.

He's dropping, but not as fast as your predictions 😉

Yeah, I guess the team did not make a huge mistake by putting them on.

It's a frustrating race. Not sure Landos strategy helped him. His soft run did not really light the world on fire and he didn't really gain a lot by doing it.

Then he loses two positions due to a strategy mistake, then loses 5 on restart.

Great run by Lando to go through the field to P5 but Piastri was frustrating to watch as he was not able to challenge guys ahead of him.

Obviously he doesnt have enough laps to get them but in 2 laps he got 2.5. Nope. Make that 3 seconds in two laps.

Just as satisfying as a podium if I'm honest! Great to watch.

A shame for that starting position. Lando was pretty much on pace with Lewis there, very impressive from him.
