I had read that one, but couldn't see anything about how the model can be positioned or loads simulated (If they even can)
I don’t think there’s any real restrictions on rolling roads, yaw angles etc. iirc there was some discussion about banning rolling roads a few years ago, but it never went anywhere.

They eventually settled on maximum wind speed limits to keep the running and build costs down, and smaller teams competitive.

I vaguely recall Bugatti wanting to test the Veyron in an F1 tunnel and being advised that it was only able to test up to 200kph. This was about half the speed the Veyron was being designed for.

I can’t say in surprised, both thoroughly deserve the recognition. Both have been outstanding this year.

I guess this must be for the whole weekend and not just the race, because I think you could only argue Max was ahead on race performance, if anyone at all.

Both cars box off their fast laps – just an Out-In exploration. Conserving the tyres for later.
Q: (Stefano Mancini – La Stampa) Kimi, will you help Vettel to win his championship this year?
Kimi Raikkonen: I can only drive one car, obviously.

Thats funny.

Oscar was on a soft, running slightly faster than Norris.

Lando was on a medium.

Both would have been P1 or about there.

Anyone was keeping tabs on long run pace? This session was pretty much useless when it comes to predicting order so long runs might be the only useful bit of information to get out of it.

Not even sure that is representative, some were using DRS and others not whilst some did continuous running and others fast-cool-fast. There also seemed to be a big variety of fuel loads judging by when everyone boxed. The good thing is there's not long to wait to find out for sure. For now, I cautiously think we are McCooking.
